Dark was the night,
pale was the Moon.
A burst of light,
which ended too soon.

The wind sprays,
rain onto my face,
down my neck,
all over the place.

Attempting to plant
bulbs for Spring,
as they grow.
Oh, the colors they will bring.

The Sun rose slowly,
in the Eastern sky.
"No rain in sight",
was the well-known cry.

At last, we could
tape and paint,
the outside walls,
to a blue faint.

Rocks, slippery with moss,
strown along a creek bed,
are difficult to walk on.
Please don't fall on you head.

Long are the nights,
short now, the days,
as Fall slides into Winter,
tree leaves turn to orange-blaze.

Coldness, puts plants to rest.
Time to pull old foilage
and to plant perennials,
for Winter's new page.

When light fades gently
in a sunset bright,
it won't be long until,
we have slipped into night.

Dark nights bring forth
the beautiful starlight.
What joy when the Moon
appears bringing Moonlight.

The sky had a purplish hue,
mixed with sunbeam rays.
It was a beautiful setting
for the past several days.

Windblown rain drops,
pelt the glass pane,
as water trickles,
down the window frame.

Quick grow the shadows,
beneath the tree,
as the Sun slowly,
sinks into the Sea.

What a feeling there is,
at the ocean shore,
as the sound of Gulls,
make me want more.

Grandiose Firs,
reach for the sky.
Stretching limbs
to heavens, up high.

Maple trees, more than 100 years old,
majestic as they aged,
foliage all gold.

The weather is cool,
no rain in sight,
which means,
it will rain tonight.

When clouds race up above,
with rain drops, cool weather,
it's time to go where it's warm
to watch football together.
