Short bursts of wind,
leaf burdened limbs,
fallen leaves,
up to your knees.

Come talk to me, please do.
When you are near,
it's time to review,
if you can now hear.

All of the words,
passing through trees,
like knives through sheets,
of a soft cheese.

What are the words,
you continue to spread?
They're happy words,
alive or some dead.

Warm air, suddenly cooled,
humidity has turned to dew.
Branches shaking, as leaves fall,
what clothes to wear, if any, at all.

The sky was grey,
not the blue, we know.
A dull, grey day, with
a beautiful sunset show.

Rustled the wind,
at break of day,
strong are the gusts,
guiding your way.

A single leaf clings,
to the branch of a tree.
Hanging, alone,
so precariously.

Light rays reflecting,
from windowpane,
splattered with a,
cool Fall rain.

Leaf colors
starting to change,
now are wet,
a shiny color range.

Water drips from branches, high,
falling from limb to below,
coursing down skin of bark,
wetting ground, where flowers grow.

What earthly beauty do I see,
when the liquid moisture drips,
as the imagined sweetness,
tasting through these old lips.

A shadow passed
across the broad expanse of land,
nothing was apparent.
Why was this cloud full of sand?

The grit infiltered every
nook, cranny and crack.
It would take many years
to get their property back.

Northern winds, hard and cold,
crossed the valley, far below.
Clouds of moisture, floating through,
bringing rain and snow, to sow.

Winter winds, the coldest of all,
bring rough weather, sleet and snow.
Weather can be quite nasty,
when Winter winds won't let go.

Great the wind,
flowing down
from mountain pass.
