A river flows through,
broad meadows, green,
a colorful view
of a natural dream.

Water begins coursing
down steep hills serene,
comes the white water,
a kayaker's stream.

Mile after mile,
all the water will be,
as it makes its journey,
back to the broad sea.

High winds blew,
through the Willows, below.
Branches were breaking,
Nature's, special show.

Summer heat,
sleepless night,
drooping eyes,
just not right.

Dreaming....

A soft, light rain,
fell from above,
bringing freshness,
to flowers I love.

Long lay the grass,
on the edge of the lawn,
once it is mowed,
then it will be gone.

Gurgling stream,
over stone and limb,
water splashing,
near the shore.
Memories are gone
here no more.

Ten ducklings,
showed up today,
two fell through a grid,
now only eight to play,

The Sun lay low in the Eastern sky,
as dawn crept slowly through
the dark, cold night for many
as the rising Sun warmed the air,
trees, grass, and flower blossoms
as daylight made its presence known.

Wind and rain,
splattering the glass,
freshens the air,
as a storm just passed.

Rocks and soil,
sprinkled with rain.
Dimpled the look,
no longer just plain.

Slanting rays of topaz,
floating through the air,
promising salvation,
removing the despair.

Sunlight, twinkling through,
branches with mottled leaves,
as flickering shadows dance
with song. In Nature I believe.

The setting Sun,
burnt a hole
in the horizon,
so, I was told.
