Looking out the window,
on this snowy, Winter day,
wondering if my writing skills
have gone away.
My mind is in fuzzy blur,
I need to go and look after her.

The thoughts of Spring
and plants new growth
are impeded and delayed,
by the new fallen snow.

Long live the wolves in our life,
that are aggressors every day,
who pursue all the victims
who ever passes their way.

This love that I have,
burns so deep inside;
a love for you,
that I never could hide.
The color of your eyes,
your soft, silky hair,
a smile so bright,
you really do care
about our relationship
that is filled with despair.

I get into bed;
you're already there.
Moving close,
you say to me,
"I love you".
Those words that
I hear are precious,
to me for I
hear them, not often.
It is great
when you say that
to me,
for then, what
I hear is
all it can be.
An expression of love
between man and wife,
who have been together
almost all our life.
I love you
my precious one
and will do so
until our life is done.

Long will I wonder.
Long will I care,
for you, in this life,
strange as it is.
To be with you always,
being your friend,
my love for you;
just you alone.
That's the way it
should be now,
in this day and age.
Just you and me
on the Worlds largest stage.

A creative soul?
I think not.
Writing helps me
untie this knot,
of my anxiety,
hidden in my mind.
The worry for another,
a Caregiver you are,
for your love
of another.
The best you can do,
for she is alone.
Now so are you.

A sad refrain?
Of course it is.
Keep your memory
of her face,
focused and true.
I just say
those simple words
of I love you.

Write down the words,
that come from your head.
Knowing that's what you do
for those in the World
that happen to know you.

I am awaiting my fate
and it soon will be found.
I may have lost it
on this soggiest ground.

I tire of this rain.
I really do,
as the ground
beneath my feet
has turned into goo.
The green of the lawn,
the greenest of all
is mostly moss,
not grasses, tall.
I'd better add something
to sweeten the soil,
that will be easy
and not be a toil.

Someone or thing was beside the tree,
feeding my mind with uncertainty.
Should I stay or should I flee?
Someone or thing, was now watching me.
I decided to stay. I wanted to see,
as at that moment it was curiosity,
not waiting for what it may be.
I must find out; what is the reality.
Moving forward, so very cautiously,
Was a puppy, running so happily,
as I rejoiced as he ran to me
and licked my face so readily.

A quick hello.
A warm embrace.
It was great,
seeing your face.
Conversation with you,
adult to adult,
was easy to do.
I loved the result.
