Loyalty to another
is an admirable trait.
Disloyalty to another
is something to berate.
Blind loyalty to another
is something to hate.
Putting all your trust,
no matter the fate,
as if there's a hunger
you can not satiate.
The trusting of someone
who cheats and lies,
is the first step on the
path to your demise.
Trust not the Charlatan.
He is not a man
but a scourge to this country,
a man without a plan.

When you try to be clever,
like you often do,
the results can be fatal,
because of you.
Your failure to take action,
for months on an end.
Happened on your watch.
Is this too deep a subject
for you to put in your steeple?
Turn the action over now
to the Medical People,
now, before you "bunch up" your shorts.
Take action with a plan or just Abort.

Where will you go
or must I surmise,
you will be gone
before the next sunrise?

A Rose is a Rose
unless when you bought,
you find your Rose
a Forget Me Not.

There is no wrong.
Everything is right.
You tell many lies,
every night.
Back to work,
you say to all,
in spite of our
not having a protocol.
More positive cases,
for many more,
while some races;
old and poor
who sicken and die,
while you keep score.
Success is ours.
We've heard that before.
Stop with the lies.
All our ears
are very sore.
Get thee gone from here.

I lie in my bed.
The morning is dark,
what I thought was a dream,
is a nightmare instead.
What happens to all
when a leader needs to be led?
Back into the light,
by making a plan,
to fight the demon virus
the second scourge in this land.
Take action now, before it's too late.
Bring forth your courage
before the virus seals our fate.

She was fond of children, small dogs
and a lost cause like me.
She treated me with utmost respect,
this aged person; a physical wreck.
Purely platonic was the meme.
Nothing romantic
nor should there be.
A daughter it was
what it would be.
One that I relished
and others could see.

The pain in my hands.
Those I use to write,
these words, that pour
from addled brain mine.
I try to write words clearly
but fine them now hard to read.

Off in the distance,
another loud roar.
I have heard this sound
many times before.
The noise keeps building,
approaching the door.
The clap of Thunder rattles
the window pane.
A darkening day now;
here comes the rain.

A dream perhaps,
of time spent with thee.
I had been away,
far across the Sea.
We partied, dancing until dawn,
until we both started to yawn.
No sleep, that was easy to see,
for I must go to work
to earn money again,
so we can go dancing
on this new dawning day,
for we were quite young
and we will just have to play.

No matter what you say or do,
my love goes on just for you.
Remember these words; no you will not
as your memory of our life has been forgot.

I'm not afraid and yet,
I fear for all children
and what we have beget.

What kind of World, will this be,
if all citizens are not free?
Where must they go
to be treated with equality?
