A Dream Perhaps

A dream perhaps,
of time spent with thee.
I had been away,
far across the Sea.
We partied, dancing until dawn,
until we both started to yawn.
No sleep, that was easy to see,
for I must go to work
to earn money again,
so we can go dancing
on this new dawning day,
for we were quite young
and we will just have to play.
