A war of words,
rages every day,
to build anew
or to throw away?
Having little faith,
in do or not do,
what I say,
will be up to you.

What kind of World,
in which we live,
causes this much anger.
Will we ever forgive?

The time is now,
it was never when.

it's what we began.
A new day is coming,
it will change your life,
for the sum of yesterdays,
brings forth tomorrow's strife.

Old are the days,
I am long in the tooth.
Age is the topic
of a misspent youth.

Look at your calendar,
count down the days.
How long have you
been stuck in this maze?

Taking two steps forward,
with three steps back,
you're losing momentum,
which is a fact.

We must make progress,
in this our lifetime.
Be the best solution,
and your life will entwine.

Words can be smooth.
Words can be sharp.
Words can cut
straight to your heart.
Words which are hurtful,
as many can be,
when used with hate,
without empathy.
Words can be soothing,
when said with love;
an abundance of care.
Words can bring promise,
when used for praise
or bring a new sadness
if said in malaise.

Among the ashes and the dust,
stands an old car, riddled with rust.
Stored in a garage for over 50 years,
it's hidden beauty will soon appear.
Collectors searching far and wide
hope on hope to find such a ride.

What is the meaning
of the word, love?
Is it a miracle cure,
of whom we are,
or might want to be?
Love can be abundant,
for all who you know
or a singular affection
of a deeper emotion.
In any event, it's not
limited to you but
available to all who
want to love you.

He fell with Grace.
A scenic fare,
with out guilt
and no despair.
Arms stretched out,
there was no noise.
No explanation about
the way he fell.
No one questioned,
there was no doubt,
this poor soul; this man
was very much down and out.

What words roll off
this tongue of mine?
Hoping they're well meaning
and not at all unkind.
We speak, sometimes
the brain is not engaged.
Not a good trait to have,
but it does happen
and when it does,
fess up your apologies,
refresh your cause,
keep on with your life,
do not stop and pause.

Life may be short,
no matter how hard we toil,
for the happiest life
may only be, all hyperbole.

Go with the wind,
as far as you can,
for life is an adventure,
or it can be,
if you plan your journey,
in a positive way.
Work on your goals.
Practice your craft every day
and you will discover,
some work is like play.
A role you can assume,
almost every day.
