Wisdom May Be All We Know

Perhaps I knew something then,
before my thoughts became jaded,
by living in the real world.
A resubmission from 6 years ago.
Perhaps I knew something then,
before my thoughts became jaded,
by living in the real world.
If I,
With wisdom,
Chose to say,
From now on,
No better day,
Would ever
Let it be,
To run
Or walk
Eternally,
To a better life,
Than you have known
Or have more wisdom
Than you have shown.
One day soon,
When I am gray,
I will not choose
To run away.
What happened to me?
Where did I go?
I'm lost in my thoughts,
which are nothing I know.
Please talk to me now,
for I need to know.
Was I lost in my thoughts, or
still waiting for Go!
When the light,
hits your eyes,
it is a reflective
surprise.
Long will I,
think of you,
for I am missing,
you, too.
Do I know,
who you are,
or where you live,
near or far?
Probably not,
is what I'd say,
as for you,
please, go away!
Was that,
rude of me?
I am blind,
and cannot see.
Please leave,
now, please.
Just go away,
let me be at ease.
Feelings, at this point in life,
tend to get complicated.
Here is an earlier writing,
that tries to simplify the feeling.
I am touched by being
Touched.
I am in love by being
Loved.
I am one by being
Many.
NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day:
Despite their resemblance to R2D2, these three are not the droids you're looking for. Instead, the enclosures house 1.8 meter Auxiliary Telescopes (ATs) at Paranal Observatory in the Atacama Desert region of Chile. The ATs are designed to be used for interferometry, a technique for achieving extremely high resolution observations, in concert with the observatory's 8 meter Very Large Telescope units. A total of four ATs are operational, each fitted with a transporter that moves the telescope along a track allowing different arrays with the large unit telescopes. To work as an interferometer, the light from each telescope is brought to a common focal point by a system of mirrors in underground tunnels. Above these three ATs, the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are the far, far away satellite galaxies of our own Milky Way. In the clear and otherwise dark southern skies, planet Earth's greenish atmospheric airglow stretches faintly along the horizon.

A fantasy, a trip,
about losing my mind.
Surprising to me,
for I couldn't find,
Losing the one you love,
with no excuse or to explain,
why this had to happen?
There's no one to blame.
Reflections about acts often taken
without thought of the differences
they made. I miss this.
Lying close
With deepest breathing,
Beads of love,
Appear in hairlines,
Eyes closed,
As if sleeping.
Quickly, with a deft motion,
You pull away,
From me
And are gone.
Here we go,
alone again.
Sadness returns,
My old friend.
No matter how,
I seek happiness,
you return to me,
with no finesse.
When day is done
and fortune reigns,
will luck reduce,
all the pains?
Pains from days
gone bye,
when we ask the question,
what happened or why?
Here I am,
back in my room.
A place, a denizen,
of impending gloom.
When rivers flow,
with water deep,
while sunlight,
plays hide and seek,
towards the horizon, far,
looking West,
it's when we know,
our life is best.
Worry not, about
the morrows now,
enjoy your time.
You all know how.
