Maria, nice photo of the Pere Marquette 1225, a surviving icon of the US Steam Locomotive era. Built in 1941 and slated for scrap 10 years later. More about the 1225 Engine here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pere_Marquette_1225
