I write in verse,
a sing, song sound,
music to me,
was lost now found.

Hello World,
look it's me.
I once was lost,
now I see.

My life, a joy,
not meant to be,
for it is you,
I want to see.

Youve changed,
these last three days.
Your calmer now,
a brand-new phase.

When the moon
and sun's shadows collide,
we will go on a journey,
in space, a cosmic ride.

Soar past the planets,
of Jupiter and Mars,
amongst the constellations
of Orion's stars.

Soon, it will be,
April 3rd,
I await the day,
to see your face.

How many masked
people will we know,
after the masks are gone
and we see each other's face?

Missing the sound of pool balls,
hitting others. No music playing
and conversations have grown quiet.
I just stopped by, for a beer.
I had been here before. Unusual, the
missing sounds which bring a chill
to the back of my neck.
Why is it quiet? Where had all the
noise gone.

A greyish day,
little sun,
and yet,
somehow,
my thoughts,
become confused,
as I, tried,
to remember,
your name.

Such is life,
if that's the name
of a most
brutish game,
of let's pretend,
you remember me.

Conversations,
become inane,
as I try my best,
to avoid
becoming insane.

When the great equalizer
passes you by.
When your in pain,
and you know not why,

Stop for a moment,
stop with the lament.
You have a good home,
don't live in a tent.

What light pokes,
through the morning haze?
A greyish sheet,
with a tear, streaking,
across the broad expanse.

A light, a brilliant source,
to bring forth, joy,
lessening remorse.
the greyness,
will still cling,
to all we see,
amongst the living.

You speak of senseless things.
What fare have they wrought,
spewing words, without facts,
what battles, yet to be fought.

When did this change occur?
Why is lying the norm?
Where is the Golden Rule,
is there an impending storm?

Morality is degraded, now,
this needs to change.
The current question is,
how can we rearrange?

Stay,
tell the story,
of this odd array,
the lies of glory

A lifetime ago,
would you stay
and love me
or answer, Nay?

If you've found another
and go away.
Please don't leave.
I beg you to stay.

I love you so.
Yes, you and you.
I know not your name
or what you do.

Understand, please,
at this advancing age,
wanting grandchildren,
to turn the page.

No more the offspring,
to adore and nourish,
growing with a love,
we can cherish.
