I must admit
that what I say
is such a sham.
I would say to you,
if I were still
an honest man.
I'm not you see,
for if you look,
you will come upon,
the long lost soul
of an unrepentant Son.
The loss of love
in this strange life
is what I see ahead,
for then and only then,
in this white haired head,
are the secrets that
I thought were known,
by every living man,
for instead of being
anchored to the Earth,
our feet are in shifting sand.

Why this feeling? A sense of dread.
I'm still alive. I'm not dead.
Perhaps it's because I cannot see,
What lies ahead in this Worlds uncertainty.

the Maple leaf's fall
fluttering to the wet ground
nature's fall blanket

A sunny day; it is not warm,
Perhaps it's the lull before the storm.
The Sun now hides, behind the cloud
And covers the daylight with a shroud.
Darkness creeps in, not soft but hard,
Covering plants and flowers in the yard.
There is no Moon, nor flickering Star,
For blackness now covers who you are.

A single Moth
Flits to the flickering flame
Poof, it's gone.

As the Moon races in the sky,
I will ask of God and try
To understand the place we're in,
Unencumbered by lies and shame.
I don't know about where thought began,
But do know that this public display,
Must, I stress, must go away.
One can rant, rave and shout,
Sleeping with the Devil, is no doubt.
Something that bothers me most,
Is the evil I see with this host,
Of damaging our nations pride
And why this embarrassment, must hide.
This person, we have is so untrue.
That's how I feel. How about you?

If what is who
and gone is went,
must we now go
but not relent
and make amends
for all the lies
that doesn't unite
just unties.
The future of this country;
where is the honorable man
who tells the truth
so we understand?
A stable genius,
he is not.
Unfortunately, he is
what we've got.
If you like him
that's your choice.
As for me,
I will rejoice
when he is gone.

Words are many.
Actions are few.
When the time comes
We need to
Get rid of you.
You take all the glory,
But not any blame.
Who are you now?
Trumplthinskin,

Wind, Rain
Spattered on window pane
Drops slide down

When day is gone
And night is spent,
I'll rise again
To greet the Sun.
The Sun my friend
Will warm our bones,
While we do tasks
To protect the old.
The History they made,
When they were young.
We must honor them
And the newborn child,
If we are to Succeed.
In a short while
We will soon discover
What it means to be
When all the World is free.

Years ago, it wasn't dumb,
if you had no car
you would stick out your thumb.
Hitch hiking was the thing that you'd do,
if you needed a ride, a short distance or two.
Doing that now, in these crazy times?
Not something, I want to do.

Insidious, his action,
bereft of mind,
causing others pain,
no sense of caring,
just shows disdain.
