Fly away,
flee,
away from the light,
stay here with me.

I can no longer,
ask of you,
what to be,
or what to do.

I miss you,
your beautiful smile,
but no longer will,
see. Not for a while.

I scream for tomorrow,
which may never come,
as life is a tragedy and
we could succumb.

To lose a life,
so precious to me,
from neglect
must never be.

Yet here I sit
amongst those who lied,
not understanding,
if she chose and died.

I tired when I heard,
"Who are you?"
Then I realize,
she doesn't know, can't undo.

How I wish I could
hear those words again.
It would help me
to reduce the pain.

My eyes are moist,
as my nose runs loose,
how can I move on
from here? Can I choose?

A new day dawns,
a bright new day.
Forget the sadness,
Begin a new way.

Scan the horizon.
soak in the Sun.
A positive beginning,
You are the one.

Watch for tomorrow,
you're still the one.
Life will be better,
as you've just begun.

It is now time,
to begin anew.
Don't rely on others.
Do what you do.

Reach out to your friends,
surround yourself with joy.
Find the person for you,
matters not who you employ.

Green were the boughs,
hung from the tree.
Sad were my eyes,
searching for thee.

Breaking my heart,
within my chest.
Please let me sleep,
for I need more rest.

No longer will I,
see you, in my eyes.
No longer to hear
your sweet voice and sighs.

I am uncertain why,
I chose to run that night,
but there I was,
on a sidewalk with little light.

Running along, at a
measurable clip,
when I hit an obstacle,
which caused me to trip.

Tuck and Roll,
when you fall
to avoid hitting your head,
and that's not all.

Now I was,
down on the ground.
I stood up,
looking around

to see, if anyone,
had seen me fall.
I was all right, but
my Pride hurt; I recall.

Two years ago,
you entered this place,
to help your mind,
with love and grace.

Now, you are gone,
away from here.
No more past,
no more fear.

When I wake,
from this dream I'm in
I hope I will,
see you again.

I am afraid,
this is life true
and I'll never,
again, see you.
