When memories fail, to deliver,
at an emotional time.
When all the voices, in the World,
aren't able to realign.

a touch of humor,
of sorts, on this
Sunday morning.

It doesn't matter,
what you may have done.
I'll always remember you.

A remembrance of
a cold morning, as
I attempted to catch
a Steelhead. Please enjoy.

Along this path,
to certain oblivion,
when emotions run high,
with no solution.

What will the outcome be,
if we fail to take action,
when dealing with the great
unwashed faction?

Reflections, in my mind,
of a time long ago,
when our love,
was the only show.

I awake and hear,
noises, realizing I'm at,
the Oregon Coast,
and remember the sand.

I dress quickly, putting on running gear,
although the closest I'll get to running,
is when I turn on the faucet.

I leave my room, it's only a few yards,
to the sandy beach. The fresh smell
of the ocean attacks my nose.
A light wind, in my face, now I'm back
to a favorite spot, the beach. I'm Home.

I love a mystery.
I love a charade,
but I love best,
a special parade.

A parade of animals,
marching bands, a few
with carnival acts later,
or a trip to the Zoo.

What happens next,
in this journey of life.
My emotions are mixed,
after losing my wife.

My questions are many,
the answers are few.
So once again my question,
is what do I do?

Get away from this dwelling,
where I've sheltered in place.
Go out to other venues,
where I may meet another face.

If you sit in your room,
and fail to mix,
your next journey,
could be the "Deep Six."

There were a few times,
in this short life of ours,
where we would find a connection,
with others, or kindred Souls.

Kindred Souls or Spirits exist,
but we, as humans, don't always
recognize it. You may meet someone,
for the first time and it seems like
you have known them forever.

They are like family. I have had those
feelings. I'm having them now.
No, I'm not talking about living at
another time. Just relating a feeling
of closeness to someone I don't know.

Unreasonable? I suppose but how do
you explain this automatic link of two
mortals? I can't and I won't dwell upon
it. I believe it's more important to
develop a stronger relationship.

Is it a Deep Love or is it the Kindred Spirit.
I believe it's both. What do you think?

Swallow, hollow,
hill and dale,
are in our vocabulary,
so is yard sale.

What does it mean?
I haven't a clue.
Just trying to find a way,
to be near you.

These are words,
I'm trying to write,
as I find a reply,
both jaded and trite.

I hear the noise,
of a beckoning Sea.
Sounds of Seagulls,
calling to me.

Would it be possible
to return to the sea,
bringing your voice
and sweet smile to me?

God, how I wish,
you were still here with me,
yet the truth be known,
that will never be.

So, I will remain,
where I must be,
thinking of you,
my sweet, memory.
