A tubeless tire.
A rusty chain,
piled atop
a bicycle frame.
What a story,
this must be,
with missing parts
in a weedy patch
of dried hanks of grass.

We held hands, long ago,
when we were young.
Life was worry free,
unlike this hectic,
pace of life.
Now, you no longer
will touch me.
What happened?
Where did it go?
I wish I knew.

A crash
of water
becomes a spray
of salty liquid.
A light breeze,
is a force
of nature,
as salt spray,
wets my face.
Water drips,
from my chin.
I was dry
now I'm wet,
need a towel
and yet,
I love this
smell of the
ocean sea.

The cat's dander
was in the breeze,
causing my love
to have a sneeze.
A big, Achoo,
came from her head,
a noise so loud,
it could wake the dead.

A lost horizon,
the crashing Sun,
which sinks into
the day of oblivion.

What kind of words are
hither and yon?
Are they words you say,
for something beyond?
Does hither mean come
again to me,
for if you do not I may flee?
Does the word yon,
mean far away, across the pond,
to a foreign land, once here,
now gone?
Do the words together mean
to wander about aimlessly,
doing it together, simply free?

No matter where I wander,
no matter where I roam,
when I see the light in the window,
I'll know I am Home.

When your view of the World
has become, all muddled and grey.
When you life's love, dwindles more
than any words said or written,
who do you turn to?

I will not write
and no longer speak
of a lost love,
for it is surreal.
How can I describe,
a missing piece
of a broken heart.

The Sun has risen.
The sky obscured by cloud.
I am happy we have rain,
in spite of the dark shroud
worn on this dreary day.
Perhaps the Sun will appear
driving all the clouds away.

Life can be hard,
many people will say.
As hard as it is,
some are worse off,
than thee.
Thanks be to God,
not for the hurt,
which comes every day,
but for the love
in my life,
from friends and family.

There is a beauty
in all we see.
It is there, please look
for the goodness of we.
