Whispers, in the night,
Come from corners of darkness.
Words, softly said,
To a friendly ear,
Draws you closer.
And now you hear,
The words, I love you,
Said, on blankets,
On the grass,
By those, whose presence,
Will soon pass,
Into nothingness.
