Twas

Twas early morning,
before Dawns early light.
I was returning home,
after a long partying night.

I was exhausted, but
still feeling all right,
trying to go to bed,
and to turn off the light.

Had to go to Seattle,
once more, once again
to provide security,
for a very close friend.
