Magazine Posts

A jam,
a jumble,
a bunch
of words.
Nothing new
or rediscovered
to write again
of love and
happiness.
Avoid the gloom,
the sad affair,
be on guard,
be aware,
for love will
soon cast its net
for an aching heart
trying to forget

Where has our love gone?
Is it missing now
or just hidden away?
If you search,
you will find
the missing love
you left behind.

Break away from the crowd.
Go on your own.
Look for opportunities,
you may do alone,
or find you another,
to spend time with you.
It will be exciting,
whatever you do.

Forego the future,
Forget the past.
Forge the moment,
Find love fast.

Long lay the grass,
up to his knees,
outstanding in his field
of old broken dreams.
Pursue not the love,
which you'll find on display,
just go out and play
on the beautiful day.
Life is short to worry, so
start living again,
and begin a new show.

For naught the word
said in jest,
For time is gone,
our memories rest.

How is life today?
Can love overcome it all?
When those hurtful feelings
have come to call?

Can we still love today,
after broken promises
are back to stay?

Please tell me,
I need to know,
if love will fail
or continue to grow.

When days of old
are young again,
will be the time,
for "Let's pretend."
Pretend to fine,
your lost youth,
a body supple,
not long of tooth.
No aches or pain,
to mar the joy
of being again
young girl and boy.
So now, wish upon
the tree of love
and pray some more,
to your God above.

For all I see,
for all I know,
there is a hurt,
a long time ago.
A pain is felt,
but does not show,
as it's from a scar,
a long time ago.

Grey were the clouds,
clinging to the trees,
dampening the forest floor,
awaiting a new dawn,
bringing light to the night,
as we begin a new day.
What new adventure awaits?
What old problems, to solve?

All dressed in black,
with much golden bling,
earrings dangling from lobes,
'twas a beautiful thing.

Where is the love,
where is the joy,
of a relationship
between a girl and boy?
