Every mom and every baby is different. But around here, these were the essentials our first month home.

The joy, once seen a year ago,
is still there, as you see them grow.
Holding them in your arms each time
is a feeling, oh so divine
when they talk and tell you why
there will be a new joy in your eye.

There is nothing like this, I know
When you watch a grandchild grow.
The memories of raising one's own child
Was a great experience and so
Watching your grandchild become
Who you love like a nursery rhyme,
As you see them grow, over time.
