Words lay in piles,
on the dining room floor.
Words used, cast offs,
not used anymore.

The problem with that,
as said before,
they become redundant,
when not working anymore.

Words are recyclable,
can vary in size.
Just say, I'm sorry,
there will be no surprise.

Love, once so strong,
has left, gone away
as the loss of a loved one,
once here, won't stay.

It's a fine line,
between being considered
normal, or borderline,
insane.

To age, is to succeed in life.
Not aging is our end.
Enjoy life to the fullest,
loving what and who you know now.

Bare was the wagon,
behind the old shed.
The shed where we met,
to make love instead.

Going to another venue,
is what we should do,
before I find out,
I am crazy for you.

when the winds of time,
pass by our way,

when I'm no longer here,
or if that's not the case,
I'll just disappear.

Trapped between,
a rock and a hard place.
Sometimes things, don't go your way,
and compromising allows, saving face.

We all will face these decisions,
at some time
where options are few,
but better than a thin dime.

When this moment comes,
reach deep inside,
use your strength,
before support does abide.

Indecision, is the bane
of stagnation.
Move forward, you will find
thoughtful salvation.

Wide were his eyes,
as he peered through the door.
He was surprised to find her,
not intending to hurt her, as he did before.

Sad were his thoughts,
as old memories poured through.
He knew he must change,
and give the devil his due.

We are far,
from perfect,
in this life,
and it shows.

A reflection of time
so many years ago,
not much has changed,
that much I know.
