The coming darkness
of a long cold night,
comes gradually, once more
as day enters twilight.
When the light of day
dwindles down
and fades away
to a moonlit sky,
with stars a flicker.
We pass the time
but it goes not quicker.
When the dawn breaks
like a clap of thunder,
our night of fun will
still be a wonder.

Very nice, it makes one think of the flow and rhythm of life.
