So, this is the new cycle,
of snow on the ground.
A white assassin,
is what has been found.

The new growth
of yellow Daffodils,
covered with snow,
as they try to bloom.

Cold conditions, with ice,
may kill off the blooms,
while new tulips appear,
retarded by the gloom,
of non-sunny days,
bringing heat to warm,
does little to bring the
climate back to norm.

My garden spade.
A work of art,
broke when I
tried to lift a rock.
The tool was strong,
until it busted,
for the handle
had simply, rusted.

Tulips are poking
through the ground.
Wishing the rabbit
leaves them alone..

A Spring tilled ground,
mostly rock and clay,
an unhappy choice
for bulbs to grow
and survive,
the dryness of Summer

Soft are the rain drops,
striking the sill,
as they splatter upon
the colorful Daffodil.

What light
in your window
will bring,
the beauty of flowers,
the joy of Spring?

A Rose petal, all dried,
clung to the bush,
until it had died.
A sad tale of a love, down,
as the Summer passed
and the Rose turned brown.

Rings in the Roses,
circles of light,
red is the color
of buds in the night.

Golden the flowers,
kissed by the Sun,
providing Spring beauty,
to all, to everyone.
Daffodils, Hyacinth and Tulips,
will soon be in bloom,
when the weather warms

Have you seen light bend,
like rays of the Sun,
reflecting off the water
warming the Spring Day.
A reflection it is, yet
the heat feels warm,
when basking in the Sun,
while I am gardening,
keeps the feeling of being young.

I've noticed new growth,
from our Grape Hyacinth,
around the small rocks,
in the front-side yard.
The Salvia, "Hot Lips"
with the white/red
flowers still grow,
providing feed for
the Humming birds.

Winds in the Willows,
a rustling of sound;
Mysterious Gnomes,
are playing around.
