Oh Lord
Help me see,
This path I'm on
To insanity.

Tell me a story
about something good
and of the enjoyment
in this fantasy land.
A story of love,
fun and fancy free.
A land of chocolate
with sweet honey bee,
where candy flowers
adorn bush and tree.
Visitors are welcome
as friends, seen before.
Make sure you remove
your shoes at the door.
Take a small basket.
Fill it with a sweet,
for the flowers and plants
are chocolate's to eat.

A Dragon, lies beneath the trees.
Hidden now, within the dry leaves.
If you listen carefully
you may hear him sneeze.
Waiting for evenings night fall.
He learned how? I don't recall.
Being the last of his kind,
he hides so you can not find,
where he is surviving the day,
or he may flee and fly away.

Do you
croon a tune,
in the month
of June?
For me
I went on
my honeymoon.
A simple line,
a single prayer,
is what I like
with no despair
involved in
this long life
of mine,
where souls of men
become entwined
to solve the ills
of this World
and make peace.

POTUS Trump
The only one I know
who could mess up
a one car funeral.

It was back before then,
as one was want to say.
It was there it began,
the refrain of a sad day.
A day that will dwell
in all annals of time.

"The annals of time?"
she said with a smirk
"Are you some kind
of a literary jerk?"

The event that happened,
"Can you not even see,
will live on forever,
on this day of infamy.

Where will you go
or must I surmise,
you will be gone
before the next sunrise?

A Rose is a Rose
unless when you bought,
you find your Rose
a Forget Me Not.

A dream perhaps,
of time spent with thee.
I had been away,
far across the Sea.
We partied, dancing until dawn,
until we both started to yawn.
No sleep, that was easy to see,
for I must go to work
to earn money again,
so we can go dancing
on this new dawning day,
for we were quite young
and we will just have to play.

I do not like this pen of mine
for the written word is much too fine.

Eating an ice cream cone,
when a drip went down my chin,
to hit my shirt; a spot alone.
I muttered, "Oh no, not again."
Don't worry. Stop making noise,
for all old folks are wearing,
their food stained clothes.

A sudden glimpse.
A perked up nose,
flashing of eyes,
do you suppose,
there is a smile?
Lips like a Rose,
a lovely chin
and now I know,
the heart within,
is beating slow.
A laugh as well,
a tinkling sound
of a silver bell
and so profound.
Hair of color gold,
invites you to
be very bold.
Don't go; Please stay.
She gets up
and walks away..
