Last month of the Lunar Calander,
a time for recollection,
before embarking on a New Year.]
Time to learn and apply those lessons
to the new year's limitless opportunities.

Long was the road
to Perdition.
Fraught with perilous hazards
of eternal damnation,
which a sinful person,
passes after death.
Don't be that person.
There is no reason to.
Put forth the kindness
and allow us all.
to see the real you.

It matters not,
the reason why,
young and old
have to die.

There are always,
reasons which try
explaining about
who must die.

Promises made,
Promises unkept.
Did I forget
when I slept?

Does anyone remember
every promise made
or the promise said,
when trying to get laid?

So often we try.
Try to forget.
Saying all the words,
to an uncertain bet.

When all words
are said and yet,
we find ourselves,
in a promise debt.

Of all the objects,
I would like to be,
is the strength and toughness
of the giant Oak tree.
Using the broad limbs,
to provide shade and shelter,
for those, in this World,
who require much love
from the cold, snowy Winter,
attacking from above.

Why can't I stay here,
stay here with thee?
I don't understand,
why it must be me.

Tell me your name.
Where are you from?
Where do you live?
What will become
of you and your history?
Now you are living as
a lady this phase,
will you be a victim
of hate and malaise?
Will you survive
and live in better days?

A careless case
of a spoken word,
makes little sense,
when it's absurd.

Hurtful words are heard,
more often are inane.
My question seems to be,
"Am I becoming insane?"

Words once held,
with prideful joy,
were used too often,
beginning to annoy.

Desolation, reigned supreme,
rainfall missing,
parched earth became,
an inhospitable desert.
Nothing was seen
of human life.
Animals, vegetation gone,
evil was the rage.
Dante's Inferno,
turn the page.

Walking the trail
of life's excuses.
No matter the ad,
it's your right to choose.

Joy will reign,
sadness will be,
one side loses,
the other wins.
Such is football,
for us, We.
