Be here tomorrow,
my heart does implore,
receive my feeling,
of thee I implore.

Talk to me slowly,
with the softness I know.
Support the grieving,
let your words heal my soul.

I know you well,
I know you can,
heal my weakness,
of a lonely old man.

The sweet voice of sorrow,
rings from my head.
Spewing forth platitudes
about the dead.

Losing a loved one,
a lost sense of hope,
while you are struggling,
and trying to cope.

Reach out to others,
when your inner needs
the strength of another,
allowing life to proceed.

If good was bad.
If bad was good,
would you be OK,
if misunderstood?

It's all about
smoke and mirrors,
of gathering hope,
and stoking fears.

Look into the eyes,
you will see,
all the hope,
meant to be.

Go, ye now,
of faithless means,
find yourself,
within your dreams.

Sluicing the ground,
work can get old,
except when you are
looking for gold.

Go out by Liberty,
staking out a claim.
Be sure to register,
your first step to fame.

Love is good,
in this day and age.
A new beginning,
turn the page.

A writing which I find appropriate in my life, today.

Along came a stranger,
wearing a white hat.
Asking many questions.
Know anyone like that?

Walking down Main Street,
hat in his hand,
waiting for the word,
about a life which could be grand.

Off he would go,
as he was on fire.
He wasn't, I suppose,
just a live wire.

AC or DC,
You make the choice.
One you will live,
the other you're toast.

Advance the troops
into the breech.
Fighting for land,
now out of reach.

Long will we live,
alone, out of sight,
waiting, ever waiting,
for the first fight.

Resist you must,
stand by your vow
to protect this country.
I know you know how.

The words are too many,
the thoughts are too,
as I try to remember,
how much I love you.

You are now missing,
from this life I lead.
You were my life,
you're gone. I must proceed

and go on with life,
when you aren't here,
for I will always be,
in love with you, Dear.

The hands of time,
fast they be,
until the moment arrives,
which we can see.

This life we share,
both or we,
will be together
for an eternity.
