Standing in the corner,
your hat upon your head.
Why do you stay away?
Did you think I had fled?

Alongside me you came.
You left me, like a Lord,
saying nothing,
not even a single word.

How can I explain,
if I don't know you?
Not knowing where to be,
where to go, what to do.

The World had beaten
a path to his door.
The problem was,
he didn't live there anymore.

He had moved away,
to a smaller town,
for he was tired of the attention,
the World had found.

He left his friends,
who he had for a long time.
Looking for a freedom,
he thought would be divine.

Was it the right thing to do?
He thought it was
and so he would pursue,
a new direction and cause.

All the love there is.
Don't ration your love.
Share love with each other.
If there is love in your heart,
share it with others.
Love is unlimited.

She danced with abandon,
a yellow ribbon in her hair,
twirling about the floor,
floating heavenly, unaware.

The music lively,
providing a rhythm nell,
gliding across the dance floor,
a magic moment under her spell.

Her lips,
painted red,
made me believe,
she soon would wed.

Wed someone,
rich and pure,
like a Fairy Tale,
life will endure.

Words tumble forth,
amidst droopy clouds.
What if words could speak,
on their own, out loud?

Cruel words can
cut to the bone.
No physical injury,
but mental damage done.

Write of things,
you know are true.
Bring words together,
they'll become one or two.

Of nightmares, clouds,
rainbows, things
and other dreams,
I will not share.

For starting today,
we'll describe or compare,
with other awareness,
about going nowhere.

Nowhere, is a
spot in my brain,
where everyone lives,
in a paradise of sane.

My emotional mess.
Oh, what a pity,
for the speed of emotions,
are at maximum velocity.

Impossible, says
the voice in the room,
nothing moves that fast.
How about impending doom?

Of all the notes, I've read,
there are few I retain,
except for words Pirates say,
when on the bounding main.

Sailing the Seven Seas
and Oceans in between.
Exciting for a farm boy,
who barely was a teen.

Deceitful days,
Deceitful nights,
or other lies to tell,
before love takes flight.

What lies we say,
to the opposite sex,
before "I love you",
Plurimus unum, Rex.

Forlorn, she sat,
alone, with her memories,
recalling her lost love,
and the finalities.

Sprint through my body and my soul.
Here I sit , a good example of an old fool
