I love the way you smile,
when you say hello.
My heart will skip a beat,
for the love you show.

Heavy thine heart,
aching to be
fulfiller of dreams,
while waiting for thee.

Long were the stories,
told from me to you.
Short were the nights
when I had nothing to do.

Life's path may be long,
not easy to see,
moving along,
so easily.
Why try so hard,
nothing to do,
but keep on
loving you.

I love your smile,
seeing you now.
I wonder why
keeping our vow,
has become important.
I realize it now,
a commitment made,
promises to keep,
before the morning
and our next sleep.

I want to be with you
night and day.
Why did you start
pushing me away.
You say you love me,
I know it's true,
but in the next moment,
you'll say I don't like you.

Many are the tales,
stuck inside my head.
So many I will write,
some may not be said.

Tales of hate and love,
sweet tales for later,
about another life
which was much greater.

Forever the mountains.
Forever the day.
Forever my love,
Forever I'll stay.

Why am I so angry,
why am I upset?
What has upset me,
which I won't forget?

I know she sees me,
I am aware she doesn't know,
about our memories of love,
so many years ago.
Why am I angry and low,
I know she has no control.

Blue, the sky,
far above thee.
Life's the Sun,
wait for me.

A whining word
Is now heard.
Another morning
Of being absurd.

It's not important
who wins this game,
but who survives,
without blame.
Don't tell me to relax.
Don't tell me to take a break.
You don't see the pain
in her eyes, when I return
after being gone.
Sorry, but I choose
not to see those eyes
filled with emotions
because she is afraid
of being abandoned.
I am not trying to be
a hero. I just want to
fulfill our marriage vows.
Call me foolish,
call me dumb,
it is alright.
