A ten spot or five spot,
a thought in my head.
Was it creative thinking
or something I read?

Original thought,
hard to attain.
Try as hard as I can,
there's doubt, I retain.

Striving to write
words fast and free.
Are they my words
and really about me?

Lonely the nights,
but not the day.
When I see you,
what will I say?

I miss you
in every way,
the sound of laughter,
your smile, a moon ray.

Out the window,
snow on the roof.
Keeping a lookout
for a miniature Hoof.

Cold are the nights,
no need to hurry,
to find a sign
of a Christmas Fairy.

Ten thousand eyes
were watching me,
they were on my TV.

Odd how my love,
believed the announcers
can see her.
She cannot discern from
TV and reality.

Two hundred miles,
a drive away
from another night
and one more day,
of missing you.

A fleeting Soul,
a life's song,
a cousin missing,
a relative gone.

Life is sad,
during this Holiday.
A first cousin
has passed away.

From out the dark, season brings
cold, crisp air, frozen lake.
It's now easy to see,
the stark cold, my breath does take.

I can never say to you,
how important the words are
coming from me too.
Separate the whey from the curds,
I'm telling you how much I love you.
These are my words.

The aircraft shuddered,
we were in a stall.
Nose up, working the pedals,
to keep the nose from a fall.

I can be cowardly at times
with clenching of fist,
asking myself questions
of why do I exist?

Looking at others facing ills,
unwilling to talk about you.
Afraid, of you leaving me.
If it happens, what do I do?

I want you to remember,
all of the memories we had.
Realizing it will never be,
all of my memories, are sad.

Why must I
write this way?
When my words
are easy to say.

Making no sense,
now we are apart,
except to say
it's breaking my heart.

It's a great day,
to be alive and well,
on this, my solo
journey to Hell.
