and be mad and
ask for help.

What happens,
your Spirit is gone.
Will you shout
and be all alone?

I've been thinking
about the days of yore,
when our vacations
were at the seaside shore.

Cannon Beach, where
we always went,
to hear the gulls
and the surf, unrelent.

Many memories
as I recall
when we went in August,
not in the Fall.

If I walk away,
showing no concern,
my Soul will heat up,
providing a damaging burn.

I cannot walk away.
I will not leave.
My commitment to her,
wedding vows to achieve.

In sickness and health,
a vow I once made,
is my goal to achieve,
I will not be afraid.

As I sit here,
at my desk,
I feel some
loneliness.

Is the feeling,
coming from me,
or from the change,
of her, which I see?

I felt a need to reprint this.
Perhaps it will fulfill the part,
when a sadness appears
in affairs of the heart.

Yet, I delay,
receiving no comfort,
from retreating to
the lonely shadows,

or the deep corners
of my mind. Provide
me guidance, during
this time of questions.

Questioning how I
approach this mental
struggle has become,
my goal, my focus.

Live life to the fullest,
no matter what obstacles
are thrown in your path.
You're the master of
the ship and set the course.

You are the love,
of my miserable life.
I want you back,
as my beautiful wife.

I know at this time,
it will never happen, now.
I pray for guidance,
but love is here for thou.

I worry now,
but not my heart.
My life's incomplete,
when we are apart.

Choose your worry,
sharpened like a knife.
It's not about you,
it's about your ailing wife.

I cry. I weep,
"Don't take her away."
My pleas are ignored.
I want her to stay.

I know it's preface,
the cruelty of this disease.
Surpasses anything I know.
May she have a break please?

Where am I to go,
what shall I see?
I'll be all alone,
lonely, old me.

If I give you love,
what will I see?
A happier person,
a happier me.

Sweet words, I hear,
coming from you,
provides solace,
in what I do.

I find this fact,
odd, but true,
all about thee,
I like you too.
