A vassal,
a vessel,
a journey
through life,
in search
of someone,
who is
my wife.
Do not
fear me
for willing
am I
to reach
the stars,
when I
must die,
for living
a life,
all alone
is not
a choice.

What is this life,
when God takes away,
a beautiful person,
from a life of joy,
leaving a shell,
mindless but loving,
who is unable to
care for herself?
Don't tell me
about a just God.
I don't see him.

Words are spat
from my mouth,
spewing away,
as I search
for something,
meaningful to say.

In all of the World,
so far and wide,
I have always wanted
someone like you,
close by my side.

The river runs long.
The land is wide.
Why are you missing
away from my side?

There is an enjoyment
when I visit my wife,
for she says
"I love you" many times,
which breaks my heart,
to see her slip away
from our life's reality.

I am embittered,
do not preach to me,
the drivel you call
human Christianity.

The lights were flashing,
with ringing of a bell.
Locked away, she was
in her personal cell.
No gathering of people
with stories to tell.
Locked away, alone,
in your living hell.

Man up, they said.
Man up indeed,
One day at a time,
It will get better.
Easy to say.
More difficult for you,
She will have forgotten.
Anguish for your stay,
On this emotional trip.

I am near you,
here I will be,
longing to see my
true love, thee.

I see these scratching,
all my words to view,
about a lost love,
of friends like you.

Loneliness
is now a
part of my life.
Remembering the time,
wanting to be alone.
Now I am.
This is no longer home.
A room without people,
oh, how it has grown
to a vacant space
unlike a home.

Please provide me the wisdom
I've forgotten or lost
to make the right decision
No matter the cost.
