Few words
I see,
is love
for you,
and me.

Forever the night,
seldom the day,
I try with my might
to not go astray.
You are my love,
for you are my way.

Burn the bridge,
cross the creek,
fire your cannons
until you cannot speak.
The war was lost,
or was it?
Tell me the words
to guide me along
this path of
destruction. Confusion
reigns, as I am
mired in this pit
of anxiety and self-pity.

The life I've known,
is gone. Away from here.
To see memories fade,
day after day,
as the love you knew,
no longer remembers,
your name or you.
She wants me nearby,
every waking minute.
A need to her,
a suffocating blanket,
to me, yet I love her still.

And yet, it's a good feeling,
a return to a new life,
as I have moved into a
place with my sweet wife.

Once the night air finds you,
it cools while settling your fears.
Stay in the moment, if able
and your spirit will not be in arrears.

Reach not for me
for I am not there.
I'm hiding my feelings,
under the stair.
A place of hiding
for those unaware,
of all the tomorrows,
no longer there.

Love is peculiar,
love is fun.
You won't understand,
'til loving is done.
We are apart,
then we are one,
a pleasant feeling
under the Sun.

Remembering all the days
and nights too,
which I missed,
not being with you.

I love seeing you, on morning bright,
you bring me love, to my dim sight.
My love for you grows every day,
seeing your memory, as it fades away.
Someday, at this point in time,
memories of love, will only be mine.
I will patiently keep waiting for thee,
my love for you will always be.

Lonely the one
most dear to you.
Hard to see loneliness
when you are lonely too.

Sometimes, it is good to revisit the past postings.
