Patience, has to be my friend,
As my face, must still pretend
That all, is well for me,
Showing not to you, my agony,
Of watching, this life of ours,
Fade from view, like wilted flowers.

This life we have, was not intended,
To be like clothing, needing to be mended
But, here we are, with life extended,
Trying to live the life, we pretended.

A bright, sunny day.
A very cold night,
Brings forth, new colors,
To brighten the light.
The color of trees
With leaves so bright,
Brings to our eyes,
A beautiful sight.

Is there a place, I can be,
That lets me live, with my memory,
Of those days, gone by, so readily?

No matter, what you're party,
No matter, if you live remote.
Please care, about this Nation
And use your right to vote.
If you don't like what's happening
Or even if you do.
The future of this land,
Depends upon votes from you.

Every one please vote.

Please my love, stay through the night.
Do not leave me alone,
For it's the night, I must fight,
If I am to atone,
For all the sins of my youth.
Freedom will come, from the truth,
Of your misdeeds and mistakes.
Please stay my love, before my heart breaks.

My writing hand, has got a cramp
As Arthritis causes, my thumb to clamp
And my writing becomes, more like a squiggle,
With not much room, for a wiggle.

Where are your thoughts, my little one?
What words are you, trying to say?
You told me that, "this isn't fun",
As I listen to you, every day.
I see the struggle, in your eyes
And all your frustration, in those sighs.
You are working so hard, to remember,
Things that happened, in last years September.
You began saying and I won't dismiss,
"You can't continue to live like this."
It's not about, what we go through,
It's what can I do for you?
I wish I knew, my darling bride,
Of what to do and stem the tide,
As days go by, again and again,
With you my love, I will remain.

I think not, of what I am.
I think not, of what I'll be.
I think that, I will never know,
Until my eternal soul, is set free.

Oh God, please stop, let me be.
Every night, I still pray to thee.
For my prayers, for cure and salvation,
Result in the end of life's aberration.

Do you think me daft, sitting here,
Writing about my love and fear,
Of things in life, that I revere
And of those things, that are dear?
To me, my Sisters and my Brothers,
That makes a family, for all others.

To cheer a team, for good reason,
It must be good, old, football season.
No matter what team, for which you cheer,
Sometimes you may, just need a beer.
