I am all for love and affection.
Hard to do with a Co-vid 19 infection.
Please wear a mask when going out.
Avoid the crowded venues, all about.
Stay safe as you can and please
avoid contacts with others you see.

My wife has Dementia.
She handles it well.
Not sure of her process
in her own private Hell.

Run for cover,
try to hide,
the dreadful demon
is by your side.
The virus is coming
while you won't decide
to have a Plan,
for this evil ride.

Hey there, Donald Trump, Mr. President Man,
You still haven't made a virus plan.
Remember your words? What did you mean
When you said it will be gone by April 15?

I love to see your smiling face.
I would love to have an embrace,
But those times are gone. Gone away
And may not return for many a day.
I miss the joy, in your eyes,
But not the sound of your Goodbyes.

The times were good.
The times were bad.
The times were happy.
The times were sad.
The times, now today
The worst we've had.

Can you miss something
more than you can say?
Do you need it now
or can you wait 'til the day
you can afford to pay cash
for and then drive it away?

I await the dawning of the morning Sun,
For today's many events, yet to come.
Of things I now do see
Are complicated due to your infamy.
There is a law, as you say,
Keeping citizens from commenting on your foray.
Why not disappear and just go away.

The pungent scent
of ash laden rain,
brings forth memories;
forest fires, once again.

I see the scissors
in front of thee,
yet you ask
for them incessantly.
I try to tell you
where they are,
while you grab items
both near and far.
"Are these them?"
is what you ask.
Now I understand
you know not too
what objects are
in front of you.

My head is a blender,
whirling words all about.
I tread lightly so my anger
doesn't appear and come out.

Perhaps this life will have to do.
I am certain I won't find another you.
A friend in this long, long life,
The special person, my beloved wife.
We have been through thick and thin,
Now fighting a battle we can't win.
