Tell me now. Say it once more.
There is no truth, yet we deplore,
The lies coming from this one man.
This countries big, loud Charlatan.

A swirling wind,
as Dust Devils climb,
spinning the dirt
into small spirals.
A gust, a burst
on a breezy day
will clear the air,
or so they say,
as I watch
leaves blow away.

Awakening, I hear the rain,
Rattling against the window pane.
The air has freshened, once again,
No more smoke, is the refrain.

Be the courage. Be the man.
Do the things, I know you can.
Keep the bully boy at bay.
Deflate his ego. It's the way
to see him quiver in the dust,
as his oiled machinery turns to rust.

Take his lies to a fault,
dousing them with grains of salt.
Enough salt and words spring free
as lies interest his faithful core,
until the truth prevails, once more.

The words are many.
The thoughts untrue,
As the pompous one
Tries to confuse you.

If you like or dislike
the words I now write,
tell me so, for I am
in a mental plight.
Do I stay here now,
or should I take flight?

Another day of ugly smoke.
Another day, when I awoke.
Where is the love to see,
when we approach our history?
I tire of these words today,
hoping life is good, I say
find another to write about.
I'll find my own way out.

There are no thoughts,
as there isn't time
for words I write
and try to rhyme.

The words spiraling from my head
are the words I chose but instead
of words, full of hate and fury,
reminding me I'm not the jury.
If not caring for a spiteful life,
I look and see my lovely wife.
This life has been hard for she,
there's no understanding of what's to be.

A lost love,
A lost time,
Where resolve is
Weakened to why
The question of
The morality of man?
If you know
And can understand,
Please explain so
We can remand
Into custody
Of our laws
In this Nation.

When the ashes, from the flame
are cold, damp and wet,
the Earth will recover and yet,
we learn not our lesson and tire
of the Annual events of forest fires.
The amount of money spent all around
to put out the flame could be spent,
in forms of prevention a season before,
by treating the cause, brush on the floor
of the beautiful forest, burnt to the ground.
What a loss of a resource of timber
and lives of our friends.
Isn't it time to return to control
of a resource and reduce
Global Warming for all?
