A long time coming,
are words I still hear,
as we see our resources,
continue to disappear.
We must conserve, we must do,
to save our resources
for our children to use.

Go with the wind,
as far as you can,
for life is an adventure,
or it can be,
if you plan your journey,
in a positive way.
Work on your goals.
Practice your craft every day
and you will discover,
some work is like play.
A role you can assume,
almost every day.

I have written of words
and the role, which they play.
Words are only loose letters,
which we have in array.
Funny, the words,
we use every day;
Let's use an example.
Port is a word
used on a Sea coast.
In Latin it means, gate or door
or portal, an entrance.
Port, when used at Sea,
means your left,
it's plain to see.
Port, in the Navy
is always colored red,
or the color of wine.
Port can also mean to carry.
To carry or port, this object to me.

My wife, as I've said before,
has Dementia, memory loss too,
when she arose this morning,
looked at me, saying, "Who are you?"

Can we talk about love?
Not the amoral one,
but loving all others,
every day of our life.
Love doesn't have to be sexual,
perhaps it is, early in life,
when we wish to beget children.
Feelings for another,
is OK with me,
if it makes you feel whole,
for the World can be hard
when life takes its toll.
Love one another
as if tomorrow won't be
for if it happens to you,
it may happen to me.

There once was a place,
which served the best food.
The quality of theirs's, measured
by the number of napkins used.
The quality of hamburger,
juiciest ones you see.
Oh, by the way,
the napkins were free.

Love can be elusive
and may only bring,
heart ache and woe.
Certainly not a
reason to sing,
of flowers and a
most colorful Spring.

When rocks roll down
the hills of life.
When daily events,
cause more strife,
when you have,
so many a battle.
It will do you well
to avoid the prattle,
there comes a time,
we may recall,
it is very hard,
to win them all.

To be ones self,
you are considered alone,
solo or single. Oh dear!
Am I all alone,
when no one is near?
We all need some time,
to be by our self.
Grab a new novel
from the bookshelf.
Visit the places,
the Author describes.
Relax, take time to do
the things which,
you haven't got around to.

I write words of gibberish,
for it helps clear my mind.
I apologize to you
if my words are unkind.
I do not like to write,
for the help which I need,
but do for the readers,
who may enjoy this word feed.

A younger version of me today,
said, " when I get older and grey,
I will learn how to play,
this guitar, still in its case.
Now here I am, "old and grey",
with the guitar still in place,
while my arthritic fingers are sore,
and have difficulty playing a score.
Procrastination, is never a good thing,
fortunately for you I can't sing.

May what ever thoughts,
remain in my head,
unless they are specific
and need to be said.
