Once upon a time,
many years ago,
Summer would have,
many a musical show.

What back then,
TV was not around,
so, any, old noise,
was made by your sound.

They were the best of times,
filled with setbacks.
The strength, which poured through,
was beyond description.

There were times,
in the past,
which went on and on.
Much fun and a blast.

As life goes on,
and friends, pass bye,
make the best of life.
Easy if you try.

I was lost,
with a hole in my heart.
Your caring approach,
helped heal that part.

What do you do,
when you're old and grey,
and your life's partner,
has gone away.

You can sit alone,
or try as you may,
to help keep,
your sadness at bay.

As a young man,
with more fantasies
than one should,
in the Eyes of God.

Frustrations,
may abide, when
we guess at our
thoughts of living.

Temperatures rise,
coolness of Spring,
where we will have,
until the newness, thing.

The dog, the food,
the creek I'd wade,
were perfect then,
in the life I made.

Youthful times,
imagination yours,
alone again,
but know chores.

I wild time
in those days gone bye,
when memories fade,
like apple pie.

A major change,
no more driving for me.
It's ok,
for now, I see.

It will be best,
especially for me.
I'm a Widower.
It's who I be.

I know it's late,
but early for me.
I'm at the Drs
looking for thee.

When angels fly,
from sky's, afar,
I think about,
who you are.

You were my light,
you still are.
A beautiful beacon,
a lovely Star.

A sweet vision,
of love without strife.
You have touched,
Lolo's new life.

Through idle chatter,
with dust and grey,
as Spring hangs on.
Won't go away.

Perhaps we will,
return to norm,
after July 4th,
when the country was born.
