What a thrill, it was
seeing you today.
I was lost for words,
what could I say.

Thank you for the Orchid,
very pretty and white.
A gift from you,
made this day a delight.

You light up my world,
when ever your near.
Life has new meaning
when you appear.

Lonely am I,
for you I miss
embracing you while
missing your kiss.

What are the words,
saying this too?
My favorite one,
I'm loving you.

12,000 years of light years away.
Here I sit, nothing to say.
To travel the heavens, far away stars,
while trying to make sense of today.

Long may you wander,
from near and far.
Wander the highlands,
following your star.

Stars are beacons,
finding where you are,
as you travel the World,
by bus, plane or car.

Along came a horseman,
not on a horse I could see,
but driving his pickup,
like you and me.

I will love you always,
I told you I would.
Separated by Dementia,
words are misunderstood.

Harvesting stars
from the skies up above,
is a new journey
for the one I love.

A trail of glory
up in the sky,
for my true love,
I must try.

Diamonds of brilliance
are gems I see.
Collecting, my role,
gathering for thee.

Your always be away,
not too near or far.
I will reap a bounty
for I love who you are.

Words will lay useless,
like junk in a drawer.
Put them on paper,
meaningful they are.

Words may be whispered,
while slipping away,
Write down your words
when having a great day.

Words can be shouted
in an angry outburst
and sharpness is hurtful,
may make your life worst.

Soft soothing words
comfort and won't break.
Choosing words tactfully,
can lessen a heart ache.

Be brave tomorrow,
write love words of rejoice,
not those of hate.
Bring forth a new voice.

Will we ever be
at a place in time,
where it becomes
a basic courtesy,
to love another,
without the stigma,
of presumed guilt
of infidelity?

Lonely is the evening,
Lonely is the night.
Lonely is the morning,
At Dawn's early light.

Why must there be sadness?
Why must there be grief?
Why must love go missing,
Why's memory stolen by a thief.

I laid next to you,
almost every night.
I no longer can do that
and thus is my plight.

I miss you so much,
my life is a fright.
How will I survive,
not seeing you at night?

Oh, what a joy.
Oh, what a sight,
Seeing an old friend,
when out last night.
