mossy rock
lying so still
wet with dew

Pain and suffering
is thy name.
Routine for you,
for us not a game.

We were young
and full of smiles.
I went away to sea,
over 1000 miles.

I returned to her,
dressed in navy styles
and was blessed,
with 1000 smiles.

The years have passed,
it's been a while,
but I still love,
your 1000 smiles.

The time is now,
amongst our fears.
I think of you,
having 1000 tears.

If I were to write
of a trip to the stars,
a planetary venture,
to Venus and Mars,

My heart would race,
as we began to lift off.
A bumpy ride, Not,
so, I'll only scoff.

broken branch
deformed limb
comes the spring

No longer the dreams,
our life's memories gone.
I will remember her,
writing lyrics for a song.

From out the night,
I'm alone with you.
My hearts, a joy,
with something new.

Here I write,
at 4 AM,
words aflame,
no Haw or Hem.

When I awake,
will I recall,
this blessed feeling,
large and small?

What thoughts, I have,
about love, lost today.
No matter her memories,
here I will stay.

Stay with her now,
until that day,
when she has gone,
with emotions, at bay.

So grand yesterday,
something new.
Having lunch
alone, with you.

Am I, starved for love
or just affection?
Is it my EGO now,
which wants attention?

I try to write,
when still awake,
but words won't flow,
until I sleep.

Why must life be,
this unstructured?
I need sleep,
but I am here.

Now 3 AM.
sleep no more.
Write the words
on paper, clean.

Back to sleep,
hard to do,
you're not here,
what happens now?

Lay awake,
for more time,
finally, it comes,
a new word rhyme.

Alone, am I,
from this day on,
until the time
I've moved along.

Hard to do,
she's still there,
doesn't know me,
I don't care.

I need her now,
more than before,
He doesn't listen,
to us, anymore.
