From out the midst,
of the maddening crowd,
a new voice was heard,
no substance, just loud.

Trying to be seen,
trying to be heard,
searching for a friend.
Now alone, how absurd.

I know you aren't my mother.
You know I'm not your son.
You have been good to me,
so I would like you to be the one.

Cast off my feelings,
for it's what you do.
No truth with you,
I care not,
I'll seize the day.

Seize the day,
take back the night.
I may be slow,
but my minds all right.

Laugh at my blunders.
Laugh when I say,
I care not for you,
at least not today.

The lights are low,
I see you. Beautiful
is the word which
come to mind.

I miss you, my sweet one.
Don't know what to do,
except to be by your side,
as long as I can.

My Soul feels lost,
alone, out of control,
or am I just unlucky,
on an incredible roll?

I know what I read.
I know what I say,
but sometimes my emotions,
get in the way.

I miss you my love,
I surely do.
I miss you my love,
I love you.

Forever the days,
you'll remain in my heart.
Forever the days,
when we are apart.

Love me tomorrow
as you did today.
Love me tomorrow,
when I've gone away.

Splayed on the ground,
flat on my face.
I am embarassed,
fallen from grace.

No one's to blame,
is what they say.
I'll let you know
on a better day.

The Sun lay low in the Eastern sky,
as dawn crept slowly through
the dark, cold night for many
as the rising Sun warmed the air,
trees, grass, and flower blossoms
as daylight made its presence known.

Tell me a story about
your personal life,
where you were born,
how you met your wife.

I would really, like to know,
what was important to you.
How you handled setbacks,
how you learned and grew.

Were there times when
you wanted to quit,
because of some people,
with a personality twit?

Tell me of your success,
from your young life,
about raising your children,
and caring for your wife.

Let me know what troubled you,
even for a short time.
I would like to know,
were you always kind?

I've loved you forever
and the hardest for me to do,
is leave you now
for I'm still in love with you.

When I'm alone,
I think of you.
I haven't an answer,
I haven't a clue.
