I enjoy your company
and talking with you,
but don't reprimand me
for the words which I choose.

The words which I speak,
are important to me,
so, I'll keep on talking.
It's the way I will be.

I hope I'm like you,
when I grow up,
instead of like now,
wandering like a pup.

I am lactose intolerant,
so, no dairy for me.
The only product I'll eat
is from a plant or a tree.

I want to get a tattoo.
Why? I haven't the faintest idea.
I'll put it on my bucket list.
I need a tattoo which will blend
in with my "alligator skin".
I have now made a commitment,
so, here's your chance to make
suggestions. Be Nice.

When the fleas
on the dog,
have nothing to do,
do they sit on a log,

awaiting another
one like you?
Why must we behave
in this way, too?

A partial quote from Gordon Lightfoot,

If I could find
time in a bottle,
here's the first thing,
I would do."

Relive the years,
which I spend with you,
to make you happier,
than before, too.

For you are my love,
I love you more,
than the words of
a song from before.

Please let the words
tumble from my head.
I no longer know if,
I'm alive or am dead.

Too many thoughts
crossing my mind,
most are encouraging,
some are unkind.

Why do I care,
about trivia things?
Is it because of
the exchanging of rings?

I vowed to
honor and obey,
not to stay hidden,
out of the way.

Great the wind,
flowing down
from mountain pass.
Button up!

It's been such a long time,
it's been a great while,
since I had the opportunity
of seeing you smile.

Your smile, so unique,
a wonderful style,
with your smile and eyes,
you used to beguile.

Please stay with me,
at least for a time,
I need you always,
to stay and be mine.

A river flows through,
broad meadows, green,
a colorful view
of a natural dream.

Water begins coursing
down steep hills serene,
comes the white water,
a kayaker's stream.

Mile after mile,
all the water will be,
as it makes its journey,
back to the broad sea.

Why have you stayed,
with me this long?
You know me best,
like words in a song.

A song so poignant today,
lyrics, melting your heart.
A song we will remember,
when we are apart.
