Up stood the Devil,
grabbing me by the hand,
"Come with me, my Son,
to the Promised Land."

I withdrew my hand,
walking away from He,
Saying, "Leave me alone,
just let me be."

Walking away, faster than most,
saying a prayer
to our redeemer
and the Holy Ghost.
