Struggling

I have been struggling with
establishing my boundaries,
at the risk of offending others.

I am a private person,
unlike the one, you may see.
I don't care to be fussed over.
I need my own space, if I am
to deal with all I face.

I have friends, who recognize this.
Thank you. Unfortunately, there
are others, who with good intentions,
but not what I need.
