Goodness Will Prevail

Goodness will prevail,
Twas said to me.
I will only speak,
of that to thee,

for the evil which
lurks in a man,
is hard to fathom,
or to understand,

the nature of a person,
who is a man.
Emotionless at times,
stubborn, when taking a stand.
