Tomorrow,
the day,
where our life
will change.
When she moves
to a Memory care,
facility.
No more the wife,
when I go to bed.
No one to greet me
at earliest light.
A visit to her,
every day,
at her new home,
where she will stay.
A lifetime of stories,
will soon go away,
as I search for a life,
in this messy array.
Thanking you all for
the assurance given.
I must find something,
if I am to keep living.
