Days and months, pass by my door.
They will never be seen, here again
And become the memories, that we adore,
For as we age, the thoughts remain,
Stuck in the corners of our brain,
As we recall our days of yore.

Inside of me, is love and devotion,
It seems to be, my prime emotion.
I know not why, I'm this way,
When the only words, I can say,
Are "I love you" so please stay
With me until the sunrise comes tomorrow,
It's the way to keep from sorrow.

Talk not of sadness, to me.
Only mention goodness, for I see,
That my intent is to not only
Be happy, but never be alone.

Worry not, my little one,
Worry not, of the morrow,
For us and Lord above,
There is time for sorrow.

Do not reply that you must deride.
All those worries, that you do share,
With all others, who provide, daily care.

This life, we know, is never enough,
To do the things that we need.
Life is so short and so tough,
For all to be happy, contented, indeed.
What can we do, on this day
That allows all, to be set free?
Believe not, what you hear some say
Vote for those, who you can agree.

Must I await, here on this earth,
When the sweetness of love is gone?
