Naked Branches
• 04/21/24 at 05:10PM •Naked branches,
across the sky,
a moonlit background.
Why, oh, why?
Do the simple,
things in life.
Create joy,
not causing strife.
Await a visit,
from afar,
while you observe,
a falling star.
Naked branches,
across the sky,
a moonlit background.
Why, oh, why?
Do the simple,
things in life.
Create joy,
not causing strife.
Await a visit,
from afar,
while you observe,
a falling star.
Eagles soar, up high,
contrasting with a
brilliant sky,
dotted with tufts of cotton.
The thunder rolled,
as lighting slapped.
A crashing sound,
smelling the Ozone,
in the rain drenched air.
..." The relatively small size of the Moon and its shadow make eclipses truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. On average, total solar eclipses are visible somewhere on Earth once every few years. But from any one location on Earth, it is roughly 375 years between solar eclipses." .... More at The Conversation ➜
At dawning begins,
a simple ray of sunshine,
exploring the shadows,
receding from the night.
Yesterday's adventures,
have become today
and then tomorrow,
is on its way.
Swirled the wind,
in a Winter high,
leaving destruction,
from a dark sky.
Light poured out,
of windowed glass,
reflecting upon the
rain, sprinkled, grass.
Shadows made,
by limbs of trees,
waving aimlessly,
in a Spring breeze
Whirling winds,
racing through Willows.
The end of Winter, a
prelude to Spring.
Flowers will bloom,
wrens will sing.
Take the beauty,
as it is given.
See what Nature
has provided.
Walk along
a garden path,
with new
growth.
Comparing with
the old.
Daffodils, Tulips,
are there to see.
Watch Dragonflys
and the Bumblebee,
as they fertilize,
each new bud
from their neighbors.
Truly spectacular.
This is the time we break from Winter's grasp.
Water roaring down the bed,
between the moss covered rocks.
Icy cold, glacier fed,
milky color in early Spring,
pooling in eddies, pushing deep,
rushing water sounds do sing.
The thought of a garden,
springs into my head,
as it is time to get ready,
preparing a Spring bed.
New soil to place,
with Miracle-Gro, too,
there will be beautiful flowers,
and I will remember you.
Latent were,
the first signs of Spring,
Daffodils and Tulips,
a very beautiful thing.
