I write in verse,
a sing, song sound.
Music to me,
was lost, now found.

Good morning it is.
Thank you for stopping
To see if I needed anything else.
You brightened my day.

Wax poetic, he said,
as he hung on every word.
Don't be ridiculous, I said,
for your talk is absurd.

You may hate me,
I know there are a few,
it matters not to me,
for I only love you.

The night is still,
with a quarter moon.
I'm travelling now,
should be home soon.

I am missing you,
hoping you are well.
I'll see you again,
oh the tales, I will tell.

Not liking this feeling,
one of feeling down.
It is smothering me,
when no one is around.

I've stopped to reflect
about my "jogging" pace.
My friend and I trained,
for the weekend, 10K race.

We trained, during the week,
using the trail from
Redmond to Bothell,
5 days a week, was our run.

On Sunday morning, we ran,
10 to 15 miles, one shot,
trying to get fit,
was our life's lot.

It must be you,
who else could it be?
The emptiness, I feel,
when you, I can't see.

An evil thought,
goes through my mind,
questioning how I live,
during this emotional time.

My body is aching,
my spirit is broke,
when I think it over,
emotions, without hope.

Running on empty,
no relief in sight.
No inspiration,
nothing, left or right.

Frustrations are many,
emotions being pulled,
not being tugged,
mind confused, mulled.

This lost soul,
didn't mean to pry,
or ask questions,
beginning with why.

Sorry for my question,
I am curious, too,
because I enjoy
talking to you.

Why do I worry,
for others, like you,
when I see verbal abuse,
of you and the work you do?

There are some people,
I shan't name any too,
who are rude, inconsiderate,
often yelling at you.

You don't get paid enough,
to take any abuse.
Management, should step in.
There should not be any excuse.

As residents, you pay money,
to be cared for, too,
this doesn't excuse rudeness,
to those waiting on you.

It's suggested you grow up,
change your ways or move.
Those working here do it
for money but also love.

I await you, dear one,
nothing more to say,
except I love you.
Have a good day.
