Go forth from here,
no terms of endearment,
on this long summer day.
Dark, until
a single ray
broke through
the clouds, amassed
along mountains high,
across the plain,
until the time change
due to a burst of rain.
I now must leave this place,
for there is no gain
to await here where
there is too much pain.

The bell doth toll
life's end,
short it is,
for some.
No words to say,
no action to take,
except pointing out,
Life's mistake.

A sound of mirth
crept from the tent.
A cozy place,
which I could rent,
to hide away
from the ills
of the World.
This crazy place,
where no one goes,
unless bidden to,
away from grace.
Go I, your
servant now,
for love is strong
as is your vow

Words continue to swirl in my head.
Words once worthy for writing,
Words now considered dead.
Thou, thee or doth
Should be on paper,
Instead of wrapped in cloth,
A shroud used to bury
But instead, are used to
Cover all the words, said.
Why ask you to understand
Unless you profess your
Love without a demand.
Long lay the words,
Lodged in a jar,
As many others will
Ask where they are.

The night was still,
darkest of heart,
forlorn my soul,
until we must part.

Memories,
now gone,
into the air.
I know now,
life's not fair.

Green the grass,
blue the sea,
as I await
the return of thee.

Gone away,
so far from here,
I long for you
my sweetest dear.

May the days
pass swiftly bye,
until your return,
I'll sit and sigh.

Shaken branches,
trees tall,
cones dropping,
as needles fall.

Summer heat,
hard on trees.
Rain of Fall,
if you please.

Spewing water
short bursts,
through sand,
waterspouts,
telltale signs
of Razor clams.

A simple soul,
the one I know,
nothing special,
she loves me so.
Long after memories
are gone,
I'll remember her
when I hear our Song.

Where has all the caring
for another gone.
When did it become
not OK to follow the
Golden Rule?
What kind of Society
do we live in when
hate of another due
to religion, race or
country becomes the Norm.
If we wish to salvage
what is left of this Social
Experiment, of Democratic
Governing, we must take
action now, if not for ourselves,
but for our children and
grandchildren to make a place
where they may continue to
live, be happy and succeed.

Only the lonely
walk down the path,
on their life's journey.
Without joy, laughter
and love, Life's burden
may be overpowering.
