Plants are sated
with rain downpour
thirst no more.

Sadness, seeps from your eyes,
Trickling down cheeks, red
From Springs, harsh winds.
Cry the tears of sadness,
As emotions, scratch and dry,
To the surface of your being.
Lonely, are those who wander
Down this path of life,
Never stopping, never touching.
Standing there, alone.

Light of day
Brings forth the noise
of surrounding sound

Don't leave me now
for I have found
our mortal life
is more profound.
Social contact is indeed
a relationship I need.
To talk to others
through rhyme or verse,
can bring forth discussions
of thoughts, unrehearsed.
Please stay close; don't leave
for if you do, I will bereave.

Were we once together,
Many years ago?
Were you my Juliet,
Was I your Romeo?
I feel I've known you forever,
Long before this life began.
Do you remember meeting,
In some secluded Glen?
Where ferns and soft
Grasses grow,
And rays of light, invade,
To push away the
Chill of night
And watch when
Love was made.

I matters not where you are today,
for at this time we should all pray.

Many flowers; colorful all,
will be gone by the Fall.

She glanced at him,
as he walked by.
He looked at her,
knowing not why.

A single encounter,
as if by chance,
could this lead to,
a new romance?

He stopped again,
as if to try,
she said no to him,
with a sigh.

"Please don't bother me,"
she said to he.
"Please go away,
and leave me be."

Chocolate dream, up in the sky,
Or chocolate in the chocolate pie,
You say you love me,
I wonder why?
Do you tease me,
Or in your way,
Will it be another day,
That goes by,
With me wondering
What I will say.

When I say, I love you
And you say it back to me.
When I say, I worry,
You say "worry not for me."

"Don't be sad", you tell me,
"For what will be, will be".
But when I see you fading
And there is less memory,
Then I feel so helpless
And I weep for thee.

At any social function,
When your eyes start to dim
And the words, you once remembered,
Are no longer, yours to be,
When the words, stop coming,
I will weep for thee.

Across the Valley, atop the hill
comes the shrill call of a Whippoorwill.
The haunting cry, give me a chill
up my spine; it always will.
Gone from my mind; that was until
I heard the cry of the Whippoorwill.
Long did I wonder, why time stood still,
when I heard the cry of the Whippoorwill.

Tufts of hair,
A swirling.
Eyes that glisten,
Mouth an orb,
Open to the wind.
Ears, with penchant,
Sounds a flowing,
Sighing, in the night,
Echoes from the
Empty corridors
And vacant rooms,
Until morning light.
