A
gathering
of clouds,
pressed
against
the
mountain.
Pressure
building,
as the
weather,
from below
pressed into
the steepness,
creating
a large,
Thundercloud.

Forlorn the wind
In dead of night,
Moving the mind
Changing the plight
Of others who
Worry. Wrong or right.

The life we share,
we are not alone,
for we are partners,
in this great unknown.
The great part of life
which touched us before,
is one of a caring love.
A love, which I now
profess to you.
No matter what this
will bring, I'll fight for
you forever. At least,
I will try to level the score.

Words flow
off her tongue, like honey.
Sweet words of love's
temptation and
promises made.

Of all the days
Which may lay ahead,
The day I leave
Is the day I'll dread.

You are my light.
You are my soul.
You are my dream.
You make me whole.

Wish I had a girl,
to look after me
when I am
old and infirm.
To place a shawl
around my shoulders,
face me into the Sun
and gently wipe
the drool from the
corner of my mouth.

Blue was the streak,
in her raven, dark hair,
hiding the face,
of the one, unaware
of a new love,
if she would dare,
as I caught a glimpse,
from the top of the stair.

Long were the years,
when you were mine.
We loved our life,
our hearts entwined.
Please let us love
until the end of time.

Westerly the wind,
a noted Chinook.
Warming the air,
promoting growth
of flowers and shrubs,
to brighten the Spring
and bring joy, is
what we need now.

The boom of thunder,
a flash of light,
Winter storms
will take delight,
as the loud noise,
creates a fright
and inside we stay,
through day and night.

Break away,
you beautiful one.
Leave me now,
my time is done.
