I know that guy!
Why do I keep buying sketch pads?
A good question, I've said to me,
for I do not have the time
to draw figures or things
having the satisfaction, which it brings.
Don't give up; a talent is there.
In the beginning, I'm told your art
will be fair, as you progress,
after your fresh start.
Appreciate your part.

Roy was born and raised in San Francisco. He retired from the service station maintenance business in 2004 and moved to Stanwood, Washington where he took up woodworking as a hobby. While visiting friends on Camano island, he saw a hand crafted metal dachshund on their deck and he created his own version as a gift for them. Soon, he gave up woodworking to pursue his passion of three dimensional metal art.
Roy, a self taught artist, has received many awards since joining the Stanwood Camano Arts Guild in 2008. His awards include 1st Place and Peoples' Choice at the Arts Aloft Show and he is an admired and well known artist.

Ruby Lindner -
Ruby is a cross-cultural soul. Originally from the mountains of Colorado, she went to college in Paris, and then moved to Berlin, where she spent her twenties. In 1989, Ruby moved to Seattle. The result of this cultural cross-pollination is an eclectic aesthetic that finds its way directly into her paintings.
Ruby has been painting for 13 years. Since 2014, she has concentrated on an exploration of abstract painting, using unexpected color and texture combinations. Her paintings are playful and often humorous, an attempt to connect more directly with the uncensored creative impulse that drive us when we allow ourselves to get past our inner critic. She is currently showing at Parklane Gallery in Kirkland. Ruby lives in Bellevue, Washington with her husband Jeff and her much-loved shiba inu Riki. Lois Haskel - The Northwest landscape is Lois’s passion. Many of her oils and watercolors have won awards and her paintings have found homes in many collections around the country.
Lois had the advantage of growing up in a New England town known for it’s community of fine artists. As a young girl she had the opportunity to study with many well-known artists in that area
The San Juan Islands and Skagit Valley have become a favorite place to paint “plein air” and she loves to trudge the back roads and set up an easel to try and catch the light on a water or mountain scene. Lois is currently showing her artwork at Kirklan's Parklane Gallery. Learn more about Lois and her work at: http://loishaskell.com

LeElla Day is a native of Washington State, born in Omak. She grew up surrounded by mountains, and the beauty of Washington wildlife. Her early years in this environment gave her a first-hand knowledge of the wildlife native to the area through observation. She started drawing at an early age, with the guidance and encouragement of her mother, who dabbled in art at the time. Artwork inspired by wildlife is LeElla's first love, but she also does Western art, animal portraits, flowers, old barns, and landscapes. Her mediums for artwork include oil, pen and ink, acrylic, and watercolors. Her love of animals and her ability to capture their eyes and personality on canvas has given her an edge in her artwork and mastery of animal and wildlife art. She views everything as potential in painting and drawing.
LeElla has been painting for over forty years, and her work has been collected by people nation wide, as well as in Canada, England, and Germany.
LeElla is currently the "Featured Artist" at A Guilded Gallery in Stanwood, WA. To inquire about individual paintings, customs, or prints, contact her at grday7atyahoo.com .
